Help With Special Needs Children & Adults
Here is some pro bono promotion for a wonderful cause run by parents of kids with special needs. It isnít always easy to find helpful and accurate information. Thatís one of the reasons why they have created a site called wondermoms.org.
Christy Clawson, Wondermoms founder, tells me ĎMy husband and I have been talking about what the future will look like for our 6-year-old son, who has Down syndrome and autism. We have some time, but we already know he wonít be ready to move out on his own at age 18 or even 21.
Itís been surprisingly hard to find practical resources for parents of young adults who arenít likely to be able to live independently. But after a lot of digging, I discovered a few really good ones. I wanted to share them with you in case you want to add them to your siteí.
