Lifeline is an easy-to-use personal emergency response system that enables older adults, disabled people and chronically ill people to remain independent and more confident in their own homes. Lifeline is a quick and easy way to call for help in the event of an emergency.

How Lifeline Emergency Call Response Works

A small Lifeline unit is installed close to your telephone, enabling you to speak to an operator whenever the need arises. A water proof pendant is also provided, enabling you to request help at any time. You can call the operator anywhere in your home or garden within 50 metres of the unit.

In the event of a domestic or medical emergency, customers can alert the dedicated Control Centre by pressing either the emergency illuminated panic button on their telephone or the push button on their personal pendant alarm. The control centre will alert the emergency services, a doctor or a nominated emergency contact and key-holder, according to the nature of the call.

The New Progress dedicated Control Centre in Leyland currently provides over 2000 Lifeline customers with help at the touch of a button 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Lifeline services have been provided by New Progress for over 25 years. The service is arranged to meet the individual needs of each customer.
